The Philosopher's Garden

A series of ten photographs made in the Parc Jean-Jacques Rousseau at Ermenonville north of Paris. The text accompanying each picture is by Rousseau, edited from each of the ten chapters or 'Walks' of his 'Reveries of the Solitary Walker', 1778.
